IDJuJu
Pride Group, LLC
Effective 1 October 2026
ID JUJU is a private app used by Pride Group staff at event doors to check whether a guest is old enough to be admitted. It is not available to the public and has no user accounts.
Everything the app reads from a licence stays encrypted on the phone that read it. Nothing is sold, shared with advertisers, or used to track anyone.
Pride Group, LLC, P.O. Box 11100, Chandler, Arizona 85248, United States. Questions about this policy or about information held about you: IDJUJU@PrideGroup.us.
When a door host scans the barcode on the back of a driver's licence or state ID, the app reads the data the issuing authority encoded on that card:
| From the card | Name, date of birth, licence or ID number, expiry date, postal code, and the sex marker printed on the card. |
|---|---|
| Added by the app | The time of the scan, which phone performed it, the pass or fail result, and whether the details were typed in by hand instead of scanned. |
The app does not photograph the guest, does not photograph the licence, and does not record location. A host compares the photo on the card to the person in front of them with their own eyes; the app never captures that image.
To establish that a guest meets the minimum age for entry, and to keep a record that Pride Group can produce if a venue, an insurer, or a licensing authority asks how a door was run.
Records are written to encrypted storage on the phone itself. While a shift is running the app makes no network connection at all — there is no server behind it, no analytics, no advertising software, and no third-party components that receive data.
Only when a supervisor deliberately exports it at the end of a shift, by one of three routes, all of them into systems Pride Group controls:
Microsoft provides the mail and file storage under Pride Group's own business agreement and processes the data only to supply that service. Apple provides the device encryption. No one else receives these records.
The copy on the phone stays until an administrator clears it, which is done after the records have been exported. Exported copies are kept in Pride Group's systems only as long as the event records are needed for licensing, insurance, or incident purposes, and are deleted when that reason ends.
If you were scanned at a Pride Group event and want to know what is held about you, or want it deleted, email IDJUJU@PrideGroup.us with the date and the venue. We will need enough detail to find the right record and to be satisfied you are the person it belongs to. Depending on where you live, you may have a legal right to access, correct, or delete this information, and to not be discriminated against for asking.
ID JUJU is operated by adult staff at licensed events. It is not directed to children and is not distributed to the public.
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted here with a new effective date.
